Jay Hangartner - President

Jay Hangartner has been in the custom homebuilding industry for more than thirty years. In 1984, he established JBJ Construction specializing in foundation creations for several premier homebuilders in the Dallas area. Hangartner’s structurally sound groundwork and unique craftsmanship are underlying essential features to potential homebuyers and an important component and benefit to the builders. In 1986, Hangartner expanded his interests, designed a build-to-suit home and emerged into the custom homebuilding business. His distinctive expertise in understructures makes Jay Hangartner one of the most versatile and respected custom homebuilders in the region. In addition to building lavish homes, he maintains his highly reputable concrete company, which was launched 23 years ago.

Ben Hangartner - Vice President

Jay’s oldest son, Ben Hangartner, graduated from West Texas A&M University and embarked on fulfilling his aspirations—constructing houses within top residential communities in West Texas. He built more than 300 homes with a well-respected homebuilding company that reported a 95 percent rate in overall customer satisfaction as a result of his supervision. After several years, Ben’s strong family ties led him back to North Texas and his father’s business, where they joined forces to launch Hangartner Custom Homes, Inc.
